It Started With Yarn and a Dream
A few years ago, Stella discovered something magical between piano practice and theater rehearsals: crochet. In a world that moved fast, those quiet moments with soft yarn and a hook became her way to slow down, breathe, and create something joyful.
Then Talia, her younger sister, picked up a hook too. Between dance classes and art projects, she found the same peace in the rhythm of each stitch. They'd sit together, crafting tiny kawaii characters, and realized something beautiful: these little creations made them smile. And if it made them smile, maybe it could make others smile too.
That's how Cozimyco was born. 🧶
Meet the Creators
Stella (14) is the bubbly, music-loving big sister. She writes songs, plays piano and guitar, acts in theater, and absolutely adores our dog Pixel (who often "supervises" crochet sessions).
For her, crochet is where creativity meets calm, a way to pour love into something soft and squishy that can brighten someone's day.
Talia (12) is passionate about dance, theater, singing, piano, and all forms of artistic expression, from sewing to making bracelets to cozy coloring.
She's been crocheting for over a year now and loves how yarn can become anything, as well as how it helps her unwind and express her creativity in a totally different way. For her, every stitch is a way to share joy with the world.
Why We Started Cozimyco
We both discovered that crochet isn't just a craft. It's a way to relax, recharge, and create something that brings joy. There's something magical about taking soft, colorful yarn and turning it into a little character that can make someone smile. That's what we wanted to share. So we created Cozimyco, a soft, colorful universe where premium handmade kawaii plushies bring a little happiness into the world, one stitch at a time.
How We Make Our Plushies
Every plushie you see here is handmade by us using premium chenille and velvet yarns and traditional Japanese amigurumi techniques. We craft each piece with care and attention to detail because we genuinely love what we do. Each creation has its own personality. Some look wise. Some look like they've seen things. All of them are made with love. We hope they bring you as much joy as they brought us to make them.
Because for us, it's not just about making plushies or cute creations. It's about making someone's day a little softer, a little brighter, a little more cozy.
Our Small Family Business
Since we're still young (and learning!), our mom Dolores supports us behind the scenes and handles the business and legal side of things while we learn each part alongside her. She's a tech founder who loves gaming, crafts, music, singing, creative projects, and the kawaii universe. Oh, and something we almost forgot but absolutely can't leave out: the smell of freshly fallen rain and watching the trees. The colorful, cozy, artistic world we've created together brings her just as much joy and helps her recharge in her own way.
But make no mistake, every plushie is designed, crafted, and loved by us.
