Return and Refund Policy

At Cozimyco, we put love and cuteness into every detail. Each plushie is handmade to order by my sister and I, which means we start working on your order as soon as you place it. Because of this, we have specific policies to protect both you and our small handmade business.

Returns

We do not accept returns. Each crochet plushie is made to order specifically for you, which means we cannot resell returned items. By purchasing from Cozimyco, you acknowledge that all sales are final.

Important: 

Please note that we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Cancellations

You may cancel your order within 1 hour of purchase for a full refund. After this window, we've likely already started crafting your plushie, and cancellations will not be possible.

Exchanges

We don't offer exchanges for buyer's remorse or change of mind. However, we absolutely want you to be happy with your purchase! If you receive the wrong item or there's a quality issue with your plushie, please contact us immediately with photos. We'll work with you to make it right.

Damaged or Defective Items

Please inspect your plushie as soon as it arrives. If you receive a damaged item, the wrong product, or notice a quality defect, contact us within 3 days of delivery with:
- Photos of the issue
- Your order number
- A description of the problem

We'll evaluate the situation and work with you to resolve it. We may offer a replacement, repair, or refund depending on the circumstances.

Important: We cannot accept claims for damage or defects reported more than 3 days after delivery.

Refund Processing

If your refund is approved, we'll process it within 5-7 business days. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Please note:
- Shipping fees are non-refundable
- Your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the refund to your account.

European Union Consumer Rights

EU customers only: Under EU consumer protection law, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receipt (excluding custom orders). 

To qualify for an EU return, your crochet plushie must be:
- Brand new and unused
- Free from any odors, including smoke, perfume, cologne, pet odors, food smells, or any other scents
- In its original packaging with all tags attached
- Accompanied by proof of purchase

We cannot accept returns that show signs of use or have absorbed any odors. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we'll process your refund minus the original shipping costs.

Custom Orders

For bulk orders or custom requests (special colors, quantities, etc.), a non-refundable deposit of 50% may be required to secure your order and cover materials. This deposit is part of your total order cost, not an additional fee. Deposits are non-refundable as they cover materials purchased and time invested, whether or not you complete the purchase.

International Orders & Customs

International customers are responsible for all customs fees, duties, taxes, and other charges imposed during or after shipping. These costs are determined by your government and are entirely out of our control.

Refused or returned packages: If a package is refused or returned to us due to non-payment of customs fees, you will receive a refund minus all shipping and packaging costs. We cannot reship international orders that are returned due to customs issues.

Customer Error

We cannot offer refunds or replacements for customer errors, including:
- Incorrect shipping address provided at checkout
- Buyer's remorse or change of mind
- Color or size not as expected (when purchased as listed)

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address you provided, it will result in new shipping charges (your responsibility) or a refund minus all shipping costs.
