Shipping Policy

At Cozimyco, every item is handmade to order by my sister and I. We want you to know exactly what to expect when it comes to processing and shipping your adorable new friend!

Processing Time

Handmade to order - ships within 7-10 business days

Each crochet plushie is meticulously crafted from scratch with love and attention to detail. Processing times can vary depending on the complexity of your order:

  • Standard crochet plushies: 7-10 business days

  • More complex creations: May take additional time

  • Bulk or custom orders: Processing time will be discussed when you place your order

During busy periods like holidays, orders may take a few extra days. If your order experiences a significant delay, we'll contact you via email to keep you updated.

Please note: Processing time begins the day after your order is placed and does not include shipping transit time.

Shipping Carrier & Methods

Domestic orders are shipped via USPS (United States Postal Service) or UPS from Florida.
International orders can be shipped via USPS or DHL Express, or UPS. Shipping options are displayed at checkout.

Shipping costs are calculated based on your location and package weight, and will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

Tracking Your Order

Order confirmation: Once you place your order, you'll receive a confirmation email letting you know we've received it and are starting work on your plushie.

Shipping notification: When your crochet plush is finished and shipped, you'll receive another email with tracking information so you can follow your package's journey to you.

Shipping Address - Please Read Carefully!

Double-check your shipping address before completing your order!

Orders are shipped to the address you enter at checkout. Once we ship your item, we cannot change the delivery address and there is nothing we can do at that point.

Before shipment: If you notice an error in your address, contact us immediately by visiting our Contact page to send us a message so we can correct it before shipment. Important: Please include your full name, order number, email address, and the correct shipping address so we can fix it before shipment.

After shipment: If an order has been shipped and the address is incorrect, there's nothing we can do to resolve it at that point.

Returned packages: Should a package be returned to us due to an incorrect address you provided, it will result in:

  • New shipping charges (your responsibility), OR

  • A refund minus all original shipping and packaging costs

We cannot offer replacements for customer address errors unless the original package/product(s) are returned to us.

Insurance

Orders over $200 USD are automatically shipped with insurance for your protection at no additional cost.

International Shipping

Yes, we ship worldwide! Shipping options and costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and package weight.
Shipping options:

  • USPS: More affordable, typically 2-4 weeks delivery depending on location and customs processing
  • DHL Express: Faster delivery (3-7 business days), higher cost
  • UPS: Fast delivery with tracking, competitive rates

Choose your preferred option at checkout.

Customs, Duties & Taxes

International customers are responsible for all customs fees, duties, taxes, and other charges imposed by their government. These costs are:

  • Entirely out of our control

  • Not included in your order total

  • Your responsibility to pay upon delivery

All fees imposed during or after shipping are the customer's responsibility (including tariffs, taxes, and other costs).

Refused packages: Any packages refused or returned due to non-payment of customs fees will be refunded minus original shipping and packaging costs.

Lost or Damaged Packages

We are not liable for packages damaged or lost during shipping once they leave our hands. However, we're happy to assist you through the claims process!

If your package is lost or damaged:

  1. File a claim with your shipping carrier (USPS, DHL or UPS) immediately

  2. Save all packaging materials

  3. Take photos of any damage before opening

  4. Contact us by visiting our Contact page to send us a message. We'll be glad to help.

For insured orders (over $200), we'll assist you in filing the insurance claim.

Delivery Delays

While we do our best to get your plushie to you as quickly as possible, please understand that delivery times are estimates and not guarantees.

Factors that may cause delays:

  • Carrier delays or disruptions

  • Weather conditions

  • Customs processing (for international orders)

  • High volume periods (holidays, sales events)

  • Incorrect or incomplete address information

We are not responsible for carrier delays, but we'll do everything we can to help track down your package if issues arise.

P.O. Boxes & Military Addresses

We ship to P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO/DPO military addresses via USPS. Please ensure your address is entered correctly at checkout.
